I am using the UPR Rock Crusher on my car. I also have a Steeda TriAx shifter. The reach is a full reach for me going to reverse (I have a 6 speed so it is far right and top). Not uncomfortable but IMHO looks better than a really tall handle. Here is a couple pictures showing in 1st and 2nd gears.

Start by turning the ignition to position 3, and shifting into 1. (make sure E-brake is on) Use an allen wrench to remove the one screw in the top of the shift handle and pop the knob off. Be careful not to pull to hard, as the O/D switch will be removed and reused. Now remove the bezel cover.
